Metalheads can breathe a sigh of relief, as VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show, which stars Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, will return for its 11th season. Scheduled guests for the upcoming season include Zakk Wylde, Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris, King Diamond, former Queensryche singer Geoff Tate + many more.

This season will consist of eight shows, two of which were shot in March, and six additional shows, which will soon be taped beginning Sunday, Aug. 5.

The first episode of the new season will feature Disturbed frontman Dave Draiman and Adrenaline Mob members Russell Allen, Mike Orlando and Mike Portnoy. As far as the female rockers go for this season, Lita Ford will make an appearance, as well as Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart.

The Sunday, Aug. 6, taping will include guests Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society and former Queensryche frontman Geoff Tate. After the incredibly dramatic breakup between Tate and the rest of Queensryche, with Tate reportedly pulling a knife on drummer Scott Rockenfield backstage before an April show in Brazil, you won’t want to miss what Tate has to say in his ‘That Metal Show’ appearance.

Additional guests on the upcoming season include Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard, Attika 7), John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen, Chickenfoot), Mark Tremonti (Creed, Alter Bridge) and iconic metal vocalist King Diamond.

‘That Metal Show’ Season 11 begins Aug. 11, on VH1 Classic.
