A new experience called Blackout Tubing is debuting this season at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, offering tubing after dark with colorful lights and a high-energy atmosphere. Riders slide downhill under the glowing lights while music plays, and staff even give the tubes a spin before launch to make the ride more thrilling. According to the resort, tubers can reach speeds of more than 40 miles per hour!

There are a few safety rules you should keep in mind. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall. Tubes are one person only, and ski or snowboard boots are not allowed on the tubing hill.

What makes this especially interesting is how rare nighttime glow-style tubing still is in Michigan. One of the only other places known for offering a similar experience is Bowers Farm, making this a standout addition for people looking to try something different this winter!
