The events took place on a Saturday evening after troopers from the Grand Rapids post responded to a domestic complaint on Hall Road in Moorland Township.
During the arrest, the woman resisted and bit one of the troopers.
While the trooper attended to others at the scene, the woman took the opportunity to free herself from the handcuffs and commandeer the patrol vehicle.
This bold escape initiated a high-speed chase involving multiple police units.
The pursuit ended abruptly when the woman crashed the stolen cruiser in Newaygo County.
She was promptly re-arrested and taken into custody, now facing additional charges for her actions.
The bitten trooper sustained minor injuries and was treated at a hospital.
I don't know all the details to this crazy story but what was this woman thinking?
Did she really think she would get away from the police?
The investigation is still ongoing, MSP said they will provide updates when more details become available.
