These 4 Players From Michigan Are Playing in the Super Bowl

It's an event that football fans (and a lot of people who just want to party) look forward to every year - the Super Bowl.

Even though another season has come and gone without our beloved Detroit Lions making the playoffs, we still have some Michigan players to root for in Super Bowl LVII.

Two members of the Kansas City Chiefs and two members of the Philadelphia Eagles played their high school football right here in the Mitten State. That means two Michiganders will win Super Bowl rings before the weekend is over.

Mike Danna

Mike Danna plays defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's in his third season with the team, having played three seasons of college ball at Central Michigan and one at Michigan. He helped lead De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren to a state title back in 2014.

Brandon Graham

Defensive end Brandon Graham was a first-round draft pick for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010, and his spent his entire professional career with the team. He racked up accolades during his four seasons with the Michigan Wolverines, and played high school football at Detroit's Crockett High School.

Avonte Maddox

Avonte Maddox plays nickel cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, signing with the team back in 2018. Although he left Michigan to play college football with Pitt, his high school years were spent with Martin Luther King High in Detroit.

Andrew Wylie

Andrew Wylie was a practice squad player for the Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Chargers before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. He's an offensive tackle who played collegiate ball at Eastern Michigan after his high school days at Midland High School in Midland.
