The Greater Durand Area Chamber of Commerce shared on Facebook, “Mayor Jeff Brands welcomed Durand Lanes back, noting that with Durand’s growth in new businesses and housing, Durand Lanes perfectly fills the entertainment gap in our community.”

New Renovations Bring Fresh Look and Entertainment Options

The Janes family and their team spent several months renovating the bowling alley with a fresh design and improved amenities. While the venue originally had 16 lanes, lanes 9 through 16 have now been converted into a cornhole area, which has already proven popular. The bar has been completely refurbished, the arcade has been upgraded, and the space has a vibrant new atmosphere.

Big Plans Ahead — Expansion Coming in 2026

But the updates won’t stop there. Jay Janes revealed that 2026 will bring even more enhancements. Plans include clearing space between the parking lot and Durand High School’s softball field to build tennis and pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, and a brand-new putt-putt golf course.
