
Deadly Flint Shooting Still Has No Answers: Police Offer $2,500 Reward
More than a week after a deadly shooting on Flint’s west side, investigators are still looking for answers, and now they’re asking the community to help fill in the gaps.

WJRT reports that it happened early in the morning on December 7, around 1:45 a.m., along North Chevrolet Avenue near Sloan Street and Flushing Road. According to the Flint Police Department, 47-year-old Dominick Donielle Wright was shot multiple times in that area. Paramedics rushed him to Hurley Medical Center, but he later died from his injuries.

Since then, details have been limited. Police have not released any information about a suspect or a possible motive, and the investigation remains active. For family members, neighbors, and anyone who lives nearby, that silence can feel heavy, especially when a violent act goes unresolved.
