This Unique Michigan Castle Has Finally Been Sold, But at Big Discount
A unique Michigan home fit for a king (or queen) that's been on and off the market for a number of years finally has a 'Sold' sign in the front yard.
(OK, we don't have visual proof of the 'Sold' sign - it's just a figure of speech.)
The Oakland County home - which has been on and off the market since 2021 for between $2.3 and $2.5 million - but the buyer actually snagged it for significantly less cash.
Castle Home Sells at a Huge Discount
The 26-room masterpiece features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms - and seriously, you have to see the bathrooms in the pics below.
According to Crain's Detroit Business, the castle and its six acres of land are finally off the market, selling for just $1.6 million. However, Brent Gatecliff, who owned the castle home for seven years, tells Crain's that he's happy with the sale price. He acquired the home as collateral for a loan that didn't work out and adds that he never spent even a single night in the home.
