All Aboard! Thomas The Tank Engine Steams Into Genesee County
Get ready to watch your child's imagination go wild. Thomas the Tank Engine is pulling into the station for a larger-than-life experience in Genesee County.
Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad will once again welcome Thomas the Tank Engine™, a full-sized operating steam locomotive, into the station for a magical experience the whole family will enjoy.
This special event will once again give all those aspiring engineers and their families a unique chance to take a ride with the classic storybook engine, Thomas the Tank. Thomas has traveled from the Island of Sodor and is ready to spend the day with passengers of all ages at Crossroads Village.
"Since Thomas the Tank Engine left the depot more than 70 years ago, this Really Useful Engine and his Island of Sodor friends have chugged their way into the hearts of preschoolers and grownups worldwide", Genesee County Parks said.
A Day Out with Thomas offers guests a 40-minute train ride on the Huckleberry Railroad. Before and after your special journey, guests can explore Crossroads Village and even ride on the nostalgic carousel and vintage Ferris Wheel.
When is a Day Out with Thomas?
Thomas will be pulling into the station at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad for two fun-filled weekends. Rides on the famous engine will happen on August 16th-18th and on August 23rd-25th. The park is open from 9 am to 5 pm on those days.
Tickets are $22 per person with kids ages 1 and under free. The Day Out with Thomas ticket does not include admission to the village. You can get more information and purchase tickets here or by calling 800.648.PARK.
