Known for its explicit dialogue and crude humor, American Pie is a cult-classic comedy.

Directed by Paul Weitz, the film follows Jim, Finch, Oz, and Kevin as they navigate through high school and desperately make a pact to try to lose their virginity before they leave for college.

While there are several famous actors in the movie, including Jason Biggs and Eddie Kaye Thomas, there is definitely a fan favorite above them all.

Coolidge played "Stifler's mom" named Jeanine. Throughout the movie franchise, she was exclusively referred to as "Stifler's mom". However, her character became famously known for being a MILF (Mother I'd Like To F***).

During an interview with Variety, the 60-year-old actress revealed that she got some action thanks to American Pie.

I got a lot of play being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie. There were so many benefits to doing that movie.

If you did not know, American Pie has some Grand Rapids ties.

Adam Herz, the screenwriter for American Pie, wrote the movie based on his experiences growing up in East Grand Rapids. He graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in 1991.

Herz originally titled the movie, "East Great Falls High," hence why the fictional town was still called "East Great Falls."

If you rewatch the movie, see if you can spot the reference to Yesterdog. The fictional "Dog Years" was a "diner six blocks from downtown."
