Lapeer Restaurant Will Serve Free Dinner on Christmas Day

The owner wants to "break the cycle" and inspire others to give during the holidays.

Patrick Hingst is the owner of Woodchips BBQ in Lapeer and if you haven't been there yet, OMG what are you waiting for? The food is AMAZING.

And if you're in need of a meal on Christmas Day, it's the place to be. Yes, you heard that right. Christmas Day.

According to The County Press, Woodchips will "open at 2 p.m. to prepare and serve a free community meal for anyone who needs one or just wants to be surrounded by the true spirit and love of the season."
