Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley has announced that  a drive-thru COVID-19 testing facility in coming to Flint.

The announcement came this morning during the Mayor's community address on Facebook Live. Local health care organizations will partner with the cityt in the testing. Organizations such as Hurley Medical Center,Hamilton Community Health Network, Health System, and the Greater Flint Health Coalition will assist as the testing begins.

According to reports, the location for the testing site will be Atwood Stadium. The set-up will be in the parking lot entrance off West 1st Street. Testing will begin Wednesday and be held between the hours of 10am- 2pm.  There will be about 250-500 tests done each day.

Tests will be done on those working on the front lines who believe they may have been exposed to the virus, or individuals that are showing symptoms of the virus.
