One of over 60 bands set to perform at Dirt Fest 2011, Detroit's No resolve has been straight up embarrassing national bands this week by putting up unprecedented numbers in the cockfight. They took down Sixx A.M.'s new single Monday and Smoked Redlight King last night by almost 100 votes. Let this be a lesson to local bands out there, great production and a solid fan base can get you places. Having a catchy song with cool guitar riffs definitely helps too.

Black Stone CherryBlack Stone Cherry look to follow up the success of their lead single 'White Trash Millionaire' with the even more ridiculously titled 'Blame it on the Boom Boom'. I'm not sure if this song is using the toddler code for dropping a deuce or if there is some deeper meaning. One thing is for sure, there will be some kick-ass Skynard meets BLS guitars underneath.
