Smile Empty Soul Begin Recording Sessions for Fall 2013 Album
Smile Empty Soul will return this fall after launching their own imprint, Two Disciples Entertainment, in conjunction with Chicago's Pavement Entertainment. The band just entered the studio this past week to start recording their upcoming album, 'Chemicals,' which is on track for a fall 2013 release.
Frontman Sean Danielsen stated, "With all that the band has been through over the years, we finally feel at home with forming our own imprint and calling our own shots. We are also pleased to announce that we will finally have a proper European release this time around and look forward to getting overseas to the many fans that have waited to see us over the years."
The three band members posted photos on their Facebook page from the studio, and a video of bassist Ryan Martin laying down tracks for the title song 'Chemicals' can be seen above.
It's been a creatively fertile period for the band and especially Danielsen, who recently issued his first solo EP, 'Enjoy the Process.' It's currently available via iTunes. With that recording now available, Danielsen and Smile Empty Soul bandmates are moving quickly to complete their next disc.
Look for the band returning to the road this summer before the album drops this fall. Their current dates can be found here.
