Stone Cold Steve Austin Recounts Smashing 115 Beers at Event [VIDEO]

Bro, Stone Cold used to get lit af in the ring.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was the cock of the walk back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Anyone that's ever knelt at the alter of Austin 3:16 have seen him do the mudhole stomp and Stone Cold stunner plenty of times, but there's one signature move he did more than any of those -- the Stone Cold beer bash.

Every match, Austin would catch a beer or two (or four) and pound them bastards straight to the head. Granted, he would bash them together and waste more than he drank, as Bill Goldberg recently pointed out, but he still ended up with at least a few giant chugs of foamy ass beer every time. However, it has been long debated whether he was drinking real beer, or if it was just part of the act?

On a recent episode of 'The Steve Austin Show' podcast, Stone Cold closed the door on that debate. "And a lot of people said, ‘Hey man, was that real beer?’ And I say yes, it was always real beer… except for the one time," said Austin. "We were in Montreal, I think it was Sunday, something like that. Whatever it was, or maybe it was against the rules of the building, but it was NA beer, non-alcohol. And so all of a sudden those pictures start making the rounds and people are thinking, ‘Oh they’re throwing this guy non-alcohol beer.’ … that was one time."

Not only was he drinking the beer, but he was feeling them too. “I can’t tell you how many times I left the ring and I had a little bit of a buzz because of all the beers I was drinking," Austin admitted. "When you’re shotgunning anywhere from six to 12 beers, and maybe you get half of ‘em in. On an empty stomach, after you’ve wrestled, it goes to your head pretty quick."

Six to twelve beers a night? Damn, sounds like Austin 3:16 might need the serenity prayer. Then again, a sixer or 12-pack is nothing compared to one legendary night of beer chugging Stone Cold recounted on the show. Speaking to the guy whose job it was to throw him the beer, Austin said, "Were you in Japan the time we did the beer bash with the Dudleys and Stacy Keibler? We went through 115 beers that night [in Japan], and that was the most I ever went through."

Holy s***. 115 beers? That's some Wade Boggs level s***! Sounds like they had a blast in Japan that night. Based on the picture below, looks like it too.
