It was an unplugged evening with 10 Years and Finger Eleven this past Tuesday. 10 Years is one of those bands that sound fantastic in any any situation but acoustic is where they shine.

Tonight 10 Years return to Flint for a very special 'Live and Unplugged' performance. I'm a big fan of acoustic music and this is a band that will no doubt sound fantastic. Joining 10 Years tonight will be local rockers, Avenue Sky and Milwaukee based act, Trapper Schoepp. Tickets are going fast so grabs yours here before it's too late.

Dirt Fest is coming up on Aug. 10 (my birthday!), and the first lineup announce is out. The annual Birch Run music festival will feature a wide range of rock and metal bands, both local and national. 10 Years are down a familiar face as longtime bassist Lewis Cosby is sitting out the latest leg of the 'Cutting Like Knives' tour in order to be home for the birth of his first child. The group didn't have to look far for assistance as Fair to Midland's Ryan Collier will be sitting in on the run. Fair to Midland opened dates for 10 Years over the summer.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based 10 Years are gearing up to release their new musical brew, ‘Minus the Machine,’ on Aug. 7, and the guys have unleashed the music video for the first single, ‘Backlash‘ off the release.
