If not now, then when!?

Warren over-promised on behalf of the conference's schools, which has new Big Ten Commission Tony Pettiti scrambling to retain as much of the rights money as possible. The league has offered several concessions to placate its aggrieve TV partners, such as moving MSU vs. Penn State to Black Friday.

Everyone remembers the final brutal minutes of the Michigan vs. Appalachian State game from 2007.  It was at that point that fans (or at least all Michigan fans) began to shout that these non-conference games need to go away. And from the look of things these games will soon be gone.

"The leaders and the best" aren't just lyrics to Michigan's fight song, they are the truth.  U of M represented Wolverines, Michiganders and Americans proudly in the 2012 Summer Games, bringing home more hardware than any other school in the Big Ten.
