Much needed repairs coming to Flint's Bishop International Airport. Big project in store.

On a very positive note over the weekend, Lt. Jeff Neville, who was the officer attacked at Bishop Airport, rode along in the Fenton 4th of July Parade yesterday. It's awesome to see him up and around while recovering from the awful attack.

With "vacation fever" upon us, here is a juicy little travel tip for you. Allegiant Airlines has added a third nonstop flight option to Florida. They will now be flying to Punta Gorda Airport in southwest Florida (just north of Fort Myers.)

If you plan on traveling this summer, here is just a simple reminder of what not to bring. Some of these really do seem like a simple mistake. I have personally walked in to security areas and had things confiscated just because I forgot I had them.
