On Thursday, October 14th, Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute will be offering free breast cancer screenings.

Auction also includes Mark Wahlberg signed corset, and much more.

Now for some great news in the realm of fighting cancer.

Last night at Grand Blanc Lanes, Tony LaBrie continued to charge toward his $7,500 fundraising goal for the Real Men Wear Pink campaign. Thank you to all that came out to bid and support the event.

Tony is well on his way to his $5,000 fundraising goal with the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign. Wednesday night, he is having a silent auction with awesome rock items to raise more money.

First off, I'd like to thank everyone that donated so far to my 'Real Men Wear Pink' campaign. I had a goal of $2,500 to reach by the end of October and thanks to all the amazing donations, I reached my goal on October 1st

You may have noticed the 'Survivor' parking spaces showing up at Mid-Michigan businesses lately.

In 2011, nearly 40,000 women died of breast cancer.  That's too many mothers, sisters, daughters, and wives lost, and now a Mid-Michigan company is trying to help reduce that number.

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, here's a cool video about touching your boobs. Ladies, we care about your health and your boobs so please at any point throughout the day, touch those boobs. I would prefer you do it in front of me but anytime will be fine. I love those boobies...so touch em' now!

October is breast cancer awareness month so we see many commercials on the subject, pink pizza boxes from Hungry Howie's and many people sport t-shirt's to create awareness.  There is nothing wrong with any of that as far as I am concerned.  The disease is terrible and early detection is key.  However, some people want to filter the message a bit when it comes to breast cancer.
