A pair of comedians, one of whom you'll recognize from FX's 'The League,' are bringing the unique sports-focused comedy event 'Late Night Tailgate' to the Capitol Theater on October 19th.

It's hard to believe the Capitol Theater in downtown isn't open already and booming with business. I mean, we've been hearing for years that it's been under construction and will be opening soon.

For years we've been hearing that the at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Flint would be opening it's doors again. Well, after the Flint city council approved the transfer of a 12-year tax freeze to the Capitol Theatre's new owners, it looks like it's actually going to happen.

Uptown Reinvestment Corp. has just inked a deal to purchase the Capitol Theatre in Downtown Flint and already have some major plans for the historical venue.

This old school commercial of Flint's historic Capitol Theatre brings back some memories. Back in the early 90's I spent a lot of my time downtown Flint watching and playing in various bands. With hair down to my ass, I was rocking out almost every weekend.
