Credit Card

More places are restricting use of credit or debit cards for payment, and some won't take cash.

If you visited the McDonald's on Holland Road in Buena Vista Township in the last month, be sure to check your credit and debit card statements.

This is one of the reasons I try to use cash as much as possible. I know that credit and debit cards are really convenient, but it seems that cases like this are happening more often.

Be sure to keep an eye on your bank statements. In 2016 alone around 70 credit card skimmers have been found at different terminals in Michigan. If you are using your card at the pump, keep in mind that those skimmers are not visible from the outside and can be used to steal your credit information.

This is probably the best thing you can do with an old copy of 'Waterworld.' After having his old credit card declined at a store, this guy decided to go another route of getting a new card. Instead of get a new chip-enabled card, he wanted to make his own. All it took was some cardboard, a VHS tape, and some creativity.

I think this is a great idea for those of us that carry around so many freakin' different cards in our wallets. This one card is a connected device that contains all your credit, debit, gift, loyalty and membership cards in one place. It's called 'The Coin' and I want one right now.
