Dark New Day’s latest full-length, ‘New Tradition,’ packs a variety of hard-hitting rock sounds. That having been said, it’s no surprise that band members have a wide range of musical tastes and influences — and that breadth really came out when the guys recently rattled off their top five albums that changed their lives.

Foxy Shazam came out of left field and ended the near two week reign of Hurt last night, now they take on the first single from Dark New Day in almost six years.

After years of delay, Dark New Day will finally return with new music in 2012.  The album titled 'New Tradition' will be available in February, but you can hear the new single and title track right now.

I really don't like the term "Supergroup", it gets thrown around way too much. I would call this band a "Mini Supergroup".
