The former owner of Top Producers Real Estate in Bay City has been accused of embezzling around $100,000. Ivan Miller was arraigned yesterday after an investigation was started in February.

After his confession in January of 2016, Michael LaJoice will now serve 11 years in prison for embezzling almost $20 million. He stole the money over a 13 year period from Clarkston Brandon Community Center Credit Union.

Lapeer County Judge Byron Konschuh was charged yesterday afternoon with five counts of embezzlement by a public official over $50. The crime carries a penalty of 10 years, or a fine of $5,000.
