Evans Blue have unleashed 'This Time it's Different' -- the first single from their as-of-yet untitled fourth record. You can hear the premiere of the brand new track right here.

Evans Blue are currently holed-up in Traverse City, Michigan recording the follow-up to their self-titled third album. While their second outing with vocalist Dan Chandler is still a bit out of reach, the band is eying October for the release of their new single 'This Time It's Different', check out a preview here.

Anne Erickson got to chat with Parker Lauzon and Dan Chandler from Evans Blue about the direction of the new album shortly before they took the stage at Dirt Fest 2011. Find out what the guys have been working on and more importantly, when it will be done.

It might be a while before we get our hands on the new record, but Chandler has recorded the song 'More Than This' with Tokyo natives HeavensDust to help the victims of the recent disasters in Japan.

Dirt Fest, the festival traditionally known for bringing national and local metal to the stage, is branching out to all facets of rock music this year with more national bands than ever before. Dirt Fest 2011 hits the Birch Run Expo Center in Michigan August 13th, and boasts acts like All That Remains, Times of Grace, Evans Blue, Pop Evil, and about 50 other national and local rock bands. For many bands (especially early in their career) when the singer leaves, it's time to pack it up an move on. Evans Blue refused to give up on their music when original vocalist Kevin Matisyn left to pursue other endeavors and are more successful than ever because of their commitment to the band.

Evans Blue just dropped a new video, that completely features EB fans. Not only is it a fun video, but a very cool thing to give back to the fans.
