Tragedy struck a Fenton Township home over the weekend. Brady Morris, 18, was shot in the head by his 16-year-old friend around 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 4th. Police arrived on scene and took the young man into custody.

Just a days ago, Steven Dale Brown was all over the news after being arrested on child pornography charges. Yesterday Brown was found dead in his home.

After an accident this summer that caused major damage to the bridge over US-23 on Lahring Road, crews will be closing down a portion of the road on Wednesday for repairs. Starting at 4 p.m., MDOT will be closing Lahring Road from North Road to Saint Andrews Way to replace the concrete barrier wall.

A fire yesterday on Eastview Drive in Fenton Township destroyed two homes and sent one man to the hospital. Unfortunately reports indicate that a pet(s) did not survive the blaze. The fire started at one home, but due to the fact the houses are so close - it quickly spread next door.

It's going to be hot as hell today and you'll have one less beach to cool off at. Due to some high E. Coli bacteria levels a Fenton Township beach has been closed. For me it's a bit weird to hear of something like this around this area. When I was growing up in St. Clair Shores though, Metro Beach was closed all the time due to E. Coli.
