Givensix has been part of the Flint music scene for 11 years, but according to the band, "It's only just begun." As the guys are set to hit the road in November with Smile Empty Soul and Hurt.

Dirt Fest 2011 performers Givensix have just released their new album 'Harvest' after almost two years of working on the project. The Flint alt-rockers bring a fresh sound to the table that feels like having a meal with Patrick Bateman of 'American Psycho' while Tool, Rage Against the Machine, and Primus jam the dinner music. Dirt Fest, the festival traditionally known for bringing national and local metal to the stage, is branching out to all facets of rock music this year with more national bands than ever before. Dirt Fest 2011 hits the Birch Run Expo Center in Michigan August 13th, and boasts acts like All That Remains, Times of Grace, Evans Blue, Pop Evil, and about 50 other national and local rock bands.
