Howell

The icy conditions not only caused a problem on the roads, but on some runways too. A 60-year-old business man was injured when his private jet slip off the runway at small airport in Howell.

Lane Heximer of Howell brought home more than just medals at this year's Special Olympics at Central University. Having compete for 10 years in these games, Lane as awarded very special award this year. He is the 2016 Special Olympics Michigan Inspirational Athlete of the Year!

I do not have kids, so I don't know what kind of letters parents typically receive from schools. I would imagine things like upcoming field trips, scheduled days off, holiday parties etc. One Howell man thinks he should have received a letter about a transgender student attending the same school as his kids.
