The D.E.N.N.I.S. system finally pays off. As Always Sunny prepares to go before cameras for its thirteenth (!) season, cast confirms that Glenn Howerton will be back in his role as Dennis Reynolds – but for how long?
Is Glenn Howerton using the D.E.N.N.I.S. system on Always Sunny fans? After years demonstrating value and nurturing dependence, the departed FX star inspired hope of a potential Season 13 return, and now suggests over Twitter he might separate entirely.
It’s been some time since the Always Sunny in Philadelphia cast has updated on Season 13, let alone whether we should expect star Glenn Howerton’s return. The actor has since moved to NBC’s new A.P. The cast has even managed to squeeze in additional projects without disrupting the series, but the Season 12 exit of Dennis may be more permanent for Glenn Howerton than we expected.
Not that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has ever shied away from coarse language, but the move to FXX and a 14-season vote of confidence from the network was bound to offer a little leeway. So it is, that Mac, Charlie, Dee, Frank and Dennis are at their most vulgar in a full trailer for Always Sunny Season 12, hitting FXX in 2017.
