There are action movies, and there are action movies. And then there are movies that take car chase setpieces and fighting choreography to an entirely new level, creating wild, incredible scenarios that are even more astounding for their realism. That’s John Wick, and in a new featurette, Keanu Reeves explains how he and his stunt coordinators created their special brand of “gun-fu” for the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 2.
2016 is almost over! Hallelujah! With everything that’s happened in the last 12 months, we can’t wait to rip the last page of our 2016 Spider-Man wall calendar and hang up our 2017 Spider-Man wall calendar.
Our ongoing celebration of the best from the world of film in 2016 continues with our ranking of the finest movie posters of the year. In the gallery above you’ll see our picks for the 25 best. They range from massive hits to to tiny indie releases; we decided not to limit our list just to huge commercial successes. We don’t determine a movie’s quality by its box office totals. Why should we determine a poster’s quality that way?
Just when he thought he was out, they pull him back in. Last we saw of Keanu Reeves’ John Wick, he’d effectively wiped out the shady criminals responsible for killing his puppy and stealing his cool car (and, you know, other shady criminal activities), and then he walked off into the sunset with an adorable new rescue pup — presumably returning to his comfortable early retirement. Not so fast, as the sequel promises to put Wick back to work with a new set of problems, and the first official synopsis sheds more light on what those problems will be.
Things are looking good for 'John Wick' fans. Keanu has begun training for the sequel to the movie and I'm pretty sure we can expect some serious gun battles. The first movie was badass, so hopefully the next one will be just as good. Check out his gun training here, he really is becoming a quick and good shot.
