Low Winter Sun

It was a chilly one this morning in our area but not as chilly as it was in the Upper Peninsula. Temps up there dropped below freezing which caused a light accumulation. It wasn't anything major but it's a solid sign that winter is just around the corner.

If you've been saving your perfect "'Low Winter Sun' has set" joke for the right moment, the time is now. AMC has officially confirmed that the low-rated and oft-maligned detective drama starring Mark Strong and Lennie James will not return for a second season.

AMC's 'Low Winter Sun' is a rather entertaining show that is actually filmed on location in Detroit and is, for the most part, spot on with their references to city's culture. There were, however, some misfires on some of the finer details and their depiction both Detroit and Flint.
