We haven't even made it to Thanksgiving yet, but the folks from Toys for Tots are already hard a work. A bunch of volunteers came together at a Saginaw Meijer store for a shopping spree to kick off the season.
Meijer stores in six states have issued a recall on packaged produce. Possible Listeria contamination is the reason for this recall of the items that were in plastic containers or foam trays with printed labels.
Meijer has announced that they will invest $375 million to build new and remodel current stores in the midwest. Investing in the Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin stores will end up creating 2,100 new jobs in those areas.
Lapeer resident and former Meijer employee, Rachel Keesling is suing the super store over breast pumping issues. Keesling claims the retailer did not accommodate her as a breastfeeding mom. Rachel was employed at the Meijer in Swartz Creek.
