It's amazing the precision that a pit crew has during a race. However, it their timing is off, bad things can happen. During the race yesterday, Brad Keselowski was coming in for a pit stop and over shot the pit. In doing so, he hit two pit members and almost a third. Luckily, they were all ok.
During a dirt track race in upstate New York, NASCAR's Tony Stewart struck a walking Kevin Ward Jr. after an altercation during the race... Ward died as a result.

Mike Robertson, a race car driver in Winston-Salem, N.C., became angry at driver, Derek Stoltz, for making him spin out in a race on Saturday night. So Robertson got out of his car and chased after Stoltz, still in his car, on foot.
NASCAR crashes can be pretty vicious but this one definitely makes you think twice about getting good seats. On the final lap of the race there was a huge crash which not only took out most of the racers but also sent debris into the stands. Some fan footage shows some scary action along with a tire that made it through the fence and into the crowd.
