You think your dad embarrasses you in public? Wait'll you see this guy.

As many other parents did today, I loaded my boys onto the bus for their first official day of school. The task, which seems pretty ordinary, stirs some thoughts, emotions and, more than anything, memories... all of which basically destroyed me emotionally.

Reading to a child is essential to their growth, and most children's books address similar topics of sharing, accepting who you are and eating your vegetables. We found some gems from the children's literature department, though, that made us pause and say WHAT?!?!
