Though Blythe grew up on punk and hardcore, Slayer broke a teenage Randy’s narrow listening habits, adding thrash and extreme metal to his turntable’s rotation.
Teenage Time Killer, the project first reported in 2013 that features contributions from Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, has inked a deal with Rise Records to release an album in 2015.
In June 2012, Lamb of God released a trailer for an upcoming documentary on the band. The original premise was to highlight the "Pure American Metal" band's upcoming world tour. The trailer for the documentary was interesting enough, but no one could have guessed that only days after the teaser was released, singer Randy Blythe would be locked away in a Czech prison.
