The second annual Tim Horton's Cardboard Classic Sled Race is this Saturday at Mt. Holly.  I stopped out there today to get some preparations done and check the progress of the hill.  The launch bump at the top of the hill has begun.

Nothing like watching other people getting hurt to cure your case of mid-week melancholy. This montage is called "The Ultimate Winter Fails Compilation". Check it out as these idiots try to score cool points by pulling off awesome sledding, snowmobile, and skiing tricks; only to fail miserably at it.

I have never claimed to be an engineer or even a handy man for that matter, here is a shining example why.  I put together a quick test sled just to check out the hill and see how things would work.  Let's just say I will not be called upon next year to help anyone build a sled.  It's a good thing that Maggie's boyfriend designed the tampon toboggan, otherwise we would never get down the hill. The Tim Horton's Cardboard Classic Sled Race is this Saturday at Mt. Holly.  I will be heading out there Friday afternoon with a test sled to see how the hill runs and we can then figure out where the starting line is.  If you haven't built a sled yet don't worry, it's not too late.  This sled only took me about an hour to build.

I've known George for a long time, almost 11 years now.  He is definitely one of the most charitable business owners in Genesee County. Currently, he has decided to build a couple sleds for the Cardboard Classic Sled Race to race on behalf of the United Way.

Time for a little fun on the slopes.  Join us on Saturday, February 23rd for the first annual "Tim Horton's Cardboard Classic Sled Race" presented by Banana 101.5  Grab a friend and start constructing your very own cardboard sled to tear up the hillside.  There will be cash prizes and bragging rights for the top sleds.

The First Annual Banana 101.5 Cardboard Classic Sled Race is only one month away!  We will be taking over Mt.
