English rockers The Cult have announced a hiatus from touring in a new statement from vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy.

Ian Astbury looks back on the early days of Death Cult and the Cult as he prepares for a new tour celebrating both bands' legacies.

The decade had plenty of movers and shakers outside the glammed-up Sunset Strip scene.
