A Honolulu  shop teacher is in trouble after throwing a hammer at a student.

The senior was struck and ended up with four staples in his head.

The father of the victim, Tim Bitanga made the following statement to Hawaii's  KITV-TV:

"I was told there had been an accident and a hammer had hit my son in the head. When I got the call from my wife -- I'm thinking the kids had been clowning around in the classroom."

To make matters worse, the victim was allegedly held in a health room for hours, before being taken to the hospital.

The hammer throwing teacher has been placed on administrative leave and the Bitanga family has filed a police report.

When I was in school, there was one teacher who would throw chalk board erasers at students.  Not me of course!   LOL.

We can only speculate what exactly went down in that classroom until more details are revealed.

Did you ever experience any thing this major in school?  What if this was your kid?

Two sides to every story or blame teacher case closed?
