Watch This Detroit Man Hit 250 mph Fastballs Like Nobody’s Business [VIDEO]

Stanley Anderson of Detroit is not a professional baseball player, which makes his ability to consistently hit a 250 mph fastball all the more impressive.

You might be saying, "where the hell did this guy find a machine that pitches 250 mph?" Well, he didn't. He stands about 17 feet (as oppose to 60.5 feet) away from a 75 mph pitching machine at C.J. Barrymore's in Clinton Township, Michigan. The ball reaches him in less than two-tenths of a second, but he hits them virtually every damn time. Seriously, he keeps track.

Anderson, a 56-year-old security guard, claims that out of 22,750 pitches so far this year -- he's only missed 98. That's pretty impressive. Especially when you take into account that he's not starting his swing early. If you watch his swing in slow-mo, you can clearly see that he doesn't start until after the ball is launched. It's crazy.

Stanley is aware of just how impressive his skill is, and challenges any pro to try and do what he does. Honestly, I don't think he's wrong in assuming that none of them probably could... at least not without years of practice. Hell, I know I couldn't. My baseball dreams ended two decades ago with my inability to hit a curveball.

Maybe the Tigers should look at bringing Stanley aboard as a pinch hitter. I mean, it couldn't hurt after the season they just had.
