5-year-old Palace Edelen had a court-ordered overnight visit with her biological mother, Fashana Burnett-Skinner. She was supposed to return the girl to her lawful parents on June 2nd but she never showed up. Now those parents are pleading for her safe return.

According to ABC12, The Michigan State Police issued an Endangered Missing Alert for her on Monday.

I would have to imagine the courts will rethink their decision of overnight visits after this incident. Obviously, there's a pretty solid reason the mother doesn't have custody in the first place so I can't imagine she'll ever get any rights after this.

It really sucks anytime you hear about a child going missing but in this case, at least they know who she's with and she wasn't scooped up by a complete stranger off the street. either way, it's a horrible situation and we hope the little girl is brought home soon.

The "mother" drives an older model Hyundai sedan with a missing front grille and damage to the front driver's side fender. She is 47 years old with a dark complexion.

Palace was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jean shorts with pockets on the side.

Anyone who sees either of them is asked to call 911 immediately.
