Dave Grohl has been quietly working on some projects of late but a few details about his activities have recently leaked through via Twitter. Now it has been revealed that Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has recorded a song with the lead Foo Fighter and producer Butch Vig.

When it was posted to Twitter that Dave Grohl had been working with members of 80's rock group Ratt, we assumed it was a collaboration that would appear in his upcoming documentary on Sound City Studios. The details on both of those projects have been scarce but Grohl recently told Rolling Stone of the documentary:

"I decided to make a film about that feeling when you put five guys in a room, hit “record” and the hair on the back of your neck stands up. Expect some epic jam sessions."

Whether or not Grohl's recent collaborations are part of the documentary or some super secret solo album -- we're getting excited. Even more Grohl-related news was dropped earlier on Twitter, this time by Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor:

"HUGE checks off the Bucket List today- did a song with Dave Grohl and Butch Vig. Do the words 'holy s---' say enough about it?!?"

One possibility is that Grohl helped Taylor record a track for Stone Sour's upcoming double concept album -- the truth is that we really have no idea. The combination of two of rock's biggest frontmen on one track already has us salivating, hopefully more details are announced soon.
