Four area bands battle it out for a week of airplay in the Flint Town Throwdown. This week’s bands are Shock Wave, Ana, Core Effect and WestFall — listen to the tracks and vote for your favorite now. Three Macomb teens have been shocking audiences and making waves all over Metro Detroit lately. The band, appropriately known as Shock Wave, has been together fo about 3 years, but in that short time, has played an unprecedented amount of shows. Comprised of Angelo Coppola (17) – Drums & Lead Vocals, and brothers David Frankel (16) – Guitars, and Dylan Frankel (18) – Bass & Vocals, these young men have been making a name for themselves in the local and national rock scenes.
Ana is Pissed off Zombie Rock, who’s determined to beat her songs into your skulls & rape your ears. Your lungs are about to burn with excitement. Welcome.

WestFall is exceptionally active in their local music scene and are constantly striving to broaden their horizons. They have two albums on iTunes and have played to thousands of fans in venues all across the state. Their fan base grows exponentially with every performance, including an outstanding following of family and friends who support their goals as musicians. They strive to create and continue to build a solid future for their music. Their band has been performing for six years, their friendship twenty, and their commitment still strong.
