Sometimes when you're at a restaurant you wonder what happens to the extra change that's collected at the register, right? Even if they say they're collecting for charity, you still wonder if it really goes to charity.

Well it looks like some businesses actually do use the money for good. Firehouse Subs in Grand Blanc used their collection from spare change, asking people to round up their purchases and selling its leftover pickle buckets to purchase new gear for the Grand Blanc Fire Department. The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation awarded them a 19-thousand dollar grant.
