Alternative rockers Jane’s Addiction are plugging away on their latest album ‘The Great Escape Artist,’ but the gents are taking a brief break to release the music video for their newest track, ‘End to the Lies.’ Watch the full video, here. FYI: It’s nothing like ‘Jane Says.’

Frontman and Lollapalooza founder Perry Ferrell says he feels the need to keep making music to stay relevant.

"I wanna be important to your past and your history. But I also wanna be part of this year and next year and the year after that," singer Perry Farrell, 52, told Reuters.

Ferrell, six-stringer Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins have yet to announce tour plans, but they promise the new album will be out sometime late summer/early fall. Rich Costey (Muse, Interpol) is producing the release, while TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek is part of the overall creative team.
