Man Attempts to Pay for Food With Weed

A New York man attempted to pay for a meal with a bag of weed.  The mans food bill at Denny's was $9.91.  His offering?  A dollar and a bag of weed!  When the cashier refused the swap, the man tried to sell it to other patrons.

The Huffington Post is reporting that the Denny's cashier then called authorities, but the guy split before police arrived.  Obviously the clown was local, because another patron recognized him and gave his name to the cops. I am guessing the marijuana was worth more than the Grand Slam breakfast or whatever he ate, but still not a smart move.
