Lacuna Coil have enjoyed a solid year touring behind their 'Dark Adrenaline' album and it looks as though 2013 will start off on a high note, as well. The band has just announced a February run with Sevendust that will keep them in the U.S. for the entire month.

Lacuna Coil are making sure their faithful followers are able to keep up with the latest news from the band by launching their own social network-fan community. The group teamed with Mobile Backstage to create the application, which will allow fans easier access to all kinds of Lacuna Coil information.

It's not exactly common in rock to see a band with two vocalists, but Lacuna Coil have made it work over the years, with a both the female (Cristina Scabbia) and male (Andrea Ferro) perspectives getting a shared amount of time. Still, questions come up from time to time about if Scabbia might consider a solo record.

This past Tuesday night Lacuna Coil performed at The Machine Shop. Maggie was there broadcasting live and our boy Minty was on hand to get us these awesome pictures.

Lacuna Coil‘s latest album Dark Adrenaline’ pays homage to some of the band’s biggest metal influences throughout the years. Case in point: ‘My Spirit’ off the release is dedicated to late Type O Negative frontman Peter Steele, the man whom singer Cristina Scabbia says turned her on to heavy metal music.
