Machine Head’s Phil Demmel in Quirky New Ad for Jackson Guitars [VIDEO]
I hope once Machine Head gets done with the Mayhem Fest tour they don't have to find 9 to 5 jobs. If so they maybe in a lot of trouble.

The news came as a bit of a shock last week when Machine Head announced they were parting ways with longtime bassist Adam Duce. A very general statement on the matter revealed the separation, stating that the split was amicable and that the band wished Duce the best in his current and future endeavors. Now, a new letter from frontman Robb Flynn reveals that Duce was, in fact, fired from the band.
It took a little longer than initially expected, but Machine Head made it back to the stage Monday night in Oakland. The band was forced to temporarily drop off their tour when Robb Flynn required emergency surgery for a hernia, and they planned to be back for a show in Portland, Ore., on Saturday night. However, a bus breakdown thwarted those plans, but they eventually returned to the stage in Oakland.
Machine Head are having to exit their current tour, at least temporarily, as singer Robb Flynn undergoes emergency surgery to deal with a double inguinal hernia that has become the source of tremendous pain for the frontman.
The awesome tour announcements just keep rolling in, and we couldn't be more pumped. Cartoon Network's 'Metalocalypse' death metal heroes Dethklok will be headlining a North American tour with some of the strongest supporting acts you'll see from any upcoming tour. Joining Dethklok will be Machine Head, All That Remains and the Black Dahlia Murder.
Coming off one of the most successful summers to date with the Mayhem Festival, there was a lot of anticipation for what the inaugural Mayhem Festival Cruise would bring this December.
