13 years ago people that own owned land along the Tittabawassee River floodplain sued Dow Chemical for dioxin contamination. Dow Chemical believes that too much time has gone by to sue the company.

According to ABC12, Saginaw County court rulings have allowed the case to move forward and the Michigan Court of Appeals agreed, but last week, the Michigan Supreme Court ruled the court of appeals must take another look at Dow's appeal.

With so much time passed, this seems like it would be a pretty complicated case and they're saying it could take a year and a half before the court of appeals issues a ruling on Dow's appeal.
