5 Year-Old Michigan Boy Accidentally Shoots 6 Year-Old Girl

A 6-year-old girl is recovering after being shot earlier this week by a 5-year-old boy.

According to WNEM, a woman picked up her 6-year-old granddaughter and 5-year-old foster son from a home in Clare. The boy apparently found a holstered gun in the door panel of the van. He then pulled the trigger while holding his other hand in front of the barrel and the bullet passed through his hand and into the girl.

The good news is that their injuries were not life threatening.

I guess the gun was registered to a different family member and the grandmother had no idea that it was even in the van.
