Urban Explorer 260 recently gained access to the old theatre and did a walk-through with his camera. Before we delve into the video and photos, let's dig through some of the theatre's history.

When Did Star Theatre First Open?

Originally part of Jack Loek's Star Theaters chain, the theater in Taylor, Michigan, made its debut in 1989 with eight screens. Over the years, a couple more screens were added. According to Cinema Treasures, in 2005, the theater came under the operation of AMC, but unfortunately, they decided to close its doors in December 2009. However, a glimmer of hope emerged in June 2010 when it reopened as the Spotlight Theatre. That glimmer of hope was short-lived as the theater once again closed for good in November of 2012.

The creepiest part of the video below is when Urban Explorer 260 first walks into one of the theaters and he tries to explain how quiet it is. He said: "To say it is quiet is an understatement. It is eerily quiet back here." You could almost feel what he was feeling when he first walked in there.
