Americans Clueless About Memorial Day Meaning [VIDEO]

This video was from a few years ago but I guarantee, these ding dongs are still just as clueless today when it comes to the meaning behind Memorial Day.

YouTuber and media analyst Mark Dice talked with beachgoers in San Diego, California a few years ago and asked what Memorial Day means and why it is a holiday in the United States. I was totally floored by every response.

Some had absolutely no idea. Some thought it had something to do with the military, while others thought maybe it had something to do with the Wright Brothers, Nasa, Neil Armstrong and the LGBT. WTF?! Many thought it was simply a three day weekend and an excuse to party.

While it's totally fine to party and have a good time over a three day weekend, you still have to take the time to pay respect and remember the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
