New ‘Ash Vs. Evil Dead’ Season 2 Photo Teases an Unholy Alliance
Our first look at Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2 saw the title character having the time of his life, having paused the title battle for his own selfish ends, but the latest look is anything but peaceful. Not only does Ash look to have been through the grinder again, a new Season 2 photo sees Ash in some surprising company.
Nerdist debuted what looks to be a new key art photo from the fall season, surprisingly featuring Lucy Lawless’ Ruby standing shoulder to shoulder with Ash, Kelly and Pablo. There’s every chance the photo simply features Season 2's core actors, but given Ruby’s heel-turn in the end, it’s certainly a tantalizing prospect.
Not to mention, one supported by the most recent Season 2 synopsis:
The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.
Elsewhere of Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2, we know that Sam Raimi’s brother Ted will appear in the role of Ash’s childhood best friend Chet Kaminski, independent of the prior three appearances in other Evil Dead movies. Lee Majors, meanwhile, will play the unexpected role of Brock Williams, Ash’s father.
We’ll likely learn much more (and catch a first trailer) from Comic-Con 2016, but what do we make of the latest look at Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2?
